These terms apply to any shoot, edit, or retainer that Nexa Aura Productions ("NAP", "we") delivers for you ("the client"). They sit alongside your written quote. Where the quote states something different, the quote takes precedence.
Prices on our website and rate card are starting points, not flat rates. Your quote states the agreed scope: camera setup, duration, deliverables, and studio if any. A quote is valid for 30 days from issue and is confidential to you. Every shoot includes crew, lenses, broadcast wireless audio, and lighting, so you do not need an external A/V team. Prices are exclusive of GST, charged as applicable.
A shoot date is held once 50% of the production fee is received. Until then the date is not blocked and may go to another client. The balance is payable before final files are delivered. Retainers and larger projects may follow a milestone payment structure as set out in the quote. Retainers are billed monthly in advance.
Overtime beyond the agreed duration is charged at ₹3,000 per hour on Standard or ₹4,000 per hour on Premium, in 30 minute blocks after a 15 minute grace period.
Balances unpaid beyond 7 days of the due date may attract interest at 1.5% per month on the outstanding amount. On retainers and multi-part projects, we may pause further work until overdue amounts are cleared. Delivery of final files is withheld until full payment is received.
If you ask us to book a studio, it appears as a separate line at actual cost. Studio rates start at ₹2,000 per hour and vary by venue. Any pre-booking estimate is indicative. Studio advances are non-refundable, as studios do not refund us. Studio cancellation policies are set by the venue and passed through as charged. Shooting at your own location means no studio line at all.
You are responsible for lawful access to the location and any venue permissions. You warrant that you have consent from every guest appearing on camera, and you indemnify NAP against any claim arising from a lack of such consent. We rig in under 45 minutes for a standard setup. If a location is not ready or a guest arrives late, the shoot still ends at the agreed time unless you approve overtime. Reliable mains power and reasonable equipment access are assumed.
Unless the quote says otherwise, standard editing of ₹10,000 covers one podcast episode and four reels from that episode. Not included, and billed separately: AI-generated content or visuals, motion graphics, animation, additional reels or cut-downs, alternate versions, and re-edits to a new structure.
One podcast episode is based on up to 90 minutes of footage. Footage beyond this is billed at 1.5x the per-episode editing rate up to a reasonable excess, and 2x where footage is significantly over the limit, confirmed in the quote.
Standard turnaround is 5 to 7 working days per episode from the shoot, or faster on retainer. The timeline starts and resumes only when we have everything we need from you. Time spent awaiting your footage, feedback, or approvals does not count toward it.
Each deliverable includes up to two rounds of revisions. A revision means notes on an existing cut, consolidated into one set per round. Piecemeal feedback across several days counts as one round and may extend the timeline. A new direction, different structure, or added deliverable is new work, quoted before it begins.
If you do not respond for more than 20 days, the project is placed on hold and the timeline paused. If inactivity or client-caused delay continues beyond 30 days, we may treat the project as complete and bill for work done, or close it, in either case retaining the advance and any amount earned for work completed. Where a project is closed, raw and project files may be deleted after written notice to you.
We retain raw footage after delivery and make it available on request for 90 days, subject to a handling charge for drives and time. Beyond 90 days we are not obliged to archive it and may delete it. For longer retention, tell us before the shoot and we will quote it.
On full payment, you own the final delivered files and may use them across your channels without limit. We may show completed work in our portfolio, showreel, website, and social, unless you tell us in writing before the shoot that you would rather we did not. Anything confidential shown to us stays confidential.
We may decline to produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or in breach of platform rules. This does not affect fees for work already agreed or completed.
Retainers start at ₹70,000 per month for an agreed set of episodes and deliverables. Unused episodes do not roll over. Either side may end a retainer with 30 days written notice. Work scheduled within that period is completed and billed as normal.
For shoots outside Mumbai, travel, accommodation, and local transport for the crew are billed additionally, either at actual cost or as a stated allowance in the quote, and agreed before the shoot.
We carry backups on every shoot: dual audio recording and a second card or drive where the camera supports it. If material is lost through equipment failure on our side, our remedy is, first, to reshoot at our own cost at the earliest mutually convenient date, and only where a reshoot is not practical, to refund the fee for that shoot.
Neither side is responsible for delay or failure from events outside reasonable control, including weather, transport, illness, or power, internet, or platform outages. Affected dates are rescheduled in good faith, and any advance rolls to the new date rather than being refunded.
Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the behaviour of third-party platforms such as YouTube or Meta.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
Payment of the advance is taken as acceptance of these terms, read together with your written quote. For engagements where a signed copy is preferred, a signature line can be provided on request.
